Element Dance Revisited

Heh, I am so *EMBARRASSED* with this one...

That's right, you heard me, embarrassed. I used the time I should have been spending on e-Donuts *doodling*. And when I start doodling, this happens!!!

Alright, so you might remember my Element Dance from a while back, right? No? Oh well, suffice to say I wasn't happy with it. I took my guy, drew him standing up with a smug look on his face, and then flipped him to add some cool wind
effects.

This is what I do when I *try* to get it right rather than whip it together from scratch in an hour or so. (Although.. I did actually whip this together in an hour or so...)

The wind effects, fun as they were, are gone. The dreadful pose and lack of mouth is gone. And most importantly... (wait for it) HIS PHOENIX FEATHER IS GONE!! Hah!! This is drawn at a point somewhere before he got that nifty little fire-brand of a feather, way back when he was a plain old transcendant. And I'm so happy I've drawn him like this.
