Finished it! Loooong time since I've done full colour... shows, doesn't it? ^^;

Anyroadup, I'm glad it's done, tomorrow's the Expo and I need some sleep.

Catch you guys later!

::Edit::

Made it a print ^^

::Edit Again::

In the rush last October, I completely forgot that the reference isn't as free to use as some of the others I've drawn from.

This one was referenced from the lovely :iconspiked-stock: (thanks again for your understanding, I honestly forgot...)

This is SERIOUSLY some great work. I love the detail on the wrinkles and the stitching on the pants, and the wings are absolutely excellent and gorgeous.

Also kinda glad to see you kept with the seat belt buckle! I've had that thing since sheesh...2003.

Heh, if there's one thing I like doing it's unusual touches like that. Besides, if it's original, why waste it? Incidentally, it was also a *really* good base to put the logo on, so I couldn't pass it up.

But the more realism I can work into what is, essentially, an anime style, then the more satisfied with my work I find it. Your piece was perfect for this, with the right pose, adaptable features, and clothing full of folds that would be there in different materials too.

And I love wings, it's a failing of mine, but I love them. If I could just draw my cast of characters from Haven all the time, then I would, but alas... I also have other stories, and other work that needs to be done ^^

Thanks again!

To be honest, I don't know... I did use it as reference, yeah, but I didn't use the photo at all in this, I hand-drew from the reference in front of me. Either way I'll drop her a reference and see what she says ^^

Referencing by eye is still referencing, and therefore considered stock use, for future reference! Too much on that term? Maybe. =)

Heh, you're absolutely right, honestly I simply forgot at the time. One of our Group members pointing it out to me when we added it to the gallery there the other day and I remembered, thus the embarrassed laugh... 7 months is a long time... I'm usually quite punctual with stuff like that.

Thanks again!

I need to draw more angry faces, the contortion is a study in itself... I think it's the fault in my anatomy skills; anger, rage, fear, and over-the-top joy or sadness. Extremes of expression are my next stop I think.

Thanks again :floating:

Thanks kid, and for the fave, I really appreciate that :floating: It's great you think I did a good job on the folds, I had somebody give me some rather unfair comments on them a while back ^^
