Since when has this been fixed up?! Heck, I know we don't talk all that much, and life's been quiet on the DA front for you, but I was completely unaware that you were getting married!!!!
Shreya strike it and Lakik take it... Marie-Claude, you are one of my oldest and dearest online friends, we've known each other for seven years now, even if only in this kind of text format... I demand to know... *EVERYTHING*!!!

I'm just... really happy, you know? And a little ashamed that I've been out of touch by such a big margin.
We still don't have a date set, but I do have the appointment at the courthouse on February 16th, which is where I'll set the date.
I then tell him the date, and he,ll arrange things so he can take two weeks off from work to fly over here ^^ Hopefully everything goes well XD
And there needs to be photos, lots of photos.

Now then, here's my crit. Composition and mood of the piece is great! The single shape of the feather overlapping his hands is running a bit too parallel to his fingers. It could be better not obscuring his second finger, or change the shape a bit, by adding thicker outlines. If you'd like to give a stronger light and dark symbolism going on, make the man just a shade darker?
Anyhow, cheers to a great romantic comp. Always adding those wings, or feather motifs eh? Great then, don't stop, I love it. (downs a shot)
Now that you mention it, yeah, the feather over his hand does obscure a little too much, and run in the wrong direction... I should probably go back and fix that, but I'd rather get on with a new piece ^^
Oh, and as for the romance side, it's not quite that he's holding her back, but that the light is washing over both of them, and as it streams by, he whispers in her ear, 'I will always be here for you'.
But then again, it's art, you can interpret it as you like
Anyway, yeah, I'll probably never get over my wings and feathers fetish, I just... crave them somehow.
